Today I went at like 9 in the morning to a McDonalds for Teenies. II ended up buying 5 freckles, which the cashier lady called Mr. Freckles, with no hassle. There were mabye 4 people in the entire store! The rest of the day we got a bunch of freckles, smoochies, and antsies. All we didn't get was the Spunkies. But remember this was only the first day. NOT ONLY THAT, but I heard a lady that works there say that they ordered about 1/3 extra this time. Thats about 33% more teenies! And they ran out of three types on the first day! More updates later!

Mystic the Unicorn. BOO HOO! He retired today, making the new rainbow-maned Mystic a sought after collectable. Lucky for me I got mine early.

5-11-99- Hey! I've missed alot! Well today TY retired 4 attic treasures. The reason I posted this was because its odd for TY to retire just 4 beanies on a random day of the year. I'm sure there are more to come! And there probably Beanies!

This one was obviously coming. They retired the Princess Beanie so theyt make a buddie. Why? A Variety and more money! I'll try to update the checklists today!

4-23-99- Alrighty! Princess retires and Princess Beanie Buddie is announced! I knew it! Click here for the pic. P.S. It may seem like I'm late on updating, but 1-3 beanies/buddies are announced a day. I'm not updating everyday. At the end of the chaos I'll make the announcements. Oh and sometime I'll be changing the banners/titles. I found out that Microsoft Word makes better titles that ZyGraphics. Oh and I'm working on a Pokémon page too so that's why I'm a bit late.

4-14-99- Okay! Hello again. It seems that lately the only thing I've had time to update is the news section. But that's perfectly okay. Well today, after that unexpected twist yesterday, 2 new beanies were announced. Those are Knuckles the pig and my favorite so far Swirly the Snail

I think that Swirly will be the most popular because he resembles Goochy in style. He's odd, has mystic's iridecent horns for antanae, and looks so darn cute! Anyway, I believe that out of all the new releases, Swirly and Neon are the most popular. Oh, and of course Neon as well.

4-13-99 Unexpectedly, and on an odd date, The Princess Diana Beanie Baby was retired! Its on really an anniversary of anything either. Click here to see the final list.

Pecan kind of sits like Goatee and Whisper. Personally, I think that out of these, Neon will be the biggest hit! Oh and I know there are more that just three. Check back tommorrow!

4-2-99- I was just reflecting on Ty's poem on the website. I realized how clever it is. Everyone has been waiting for a Princess Beanie Buddy. Now Ty has released a Fuzz buddy. This seems a bit odd doesn't it. Productions of Fuzz the beanie were slow because it's material was expensive. Now they have a Buddie which will cost even more and take longer to make. Remember the line:

"But, considering the day and date,
It could be a little trick.
Guess you'll have to just tempt fate
And find out with a click!"?

Who says there is a Fuzz? Remember last year? They said there was a new beanie release. But on April 1st they announced it was a trick. I didn't see it myself but that's what I heard. It might not be Fuzz. Don't give up on the Princess Buddie Concept. (Still, keep your fingers crossed! I really want that Fuzz Buddie!)

4-1-99- Haven't updated in sooooo long but I'm back for now. TY ANNOUNCED THE NEW BEANIE BUDDIE! Read about my rumor here! It seems that everyone was wrong! The whited-out bear wasn't the prototype Princess buddy we saw on Lemon Lainey's. It was actually... FUZZ THE BEAR! It looks like the same material too! These probably cost a LOT too make! Stay tuned for more info...

3-20-99- It's been rumored that retailers can now purchase 36 extra beanies that will be retired on March 31st! I guess Ty is trying to clear there warehouses.

Also, Beanie Buddies should start appearing more at stores. The list of the orders for Ty Dealers as of March:

3-6-99- Police are still trying to discover the difference between authentic and fake beanies in Panama city. Melisa Kimbell,co-owner of Miscal's gift shop, reported buying 5 fake beanies to the police. She claims that William Bird sold her fake beanies. Bird said he bought the 5 beanies from 5 different shops, of course all claiming they were real. One shop wanted to sell him a box of 15 for $38,000. His mother, Carol Bird, said she bought a large amount of Peking the Pandas at Bejing. Police are still finding out more. To find out more read the FLORIDA newspaper.

2-20-99- Today I purchased another Ty-died batty for a friend, a rainbow Mystic, and a fur tailed Derby. I just wanted you to know that they DO exist. BTW, there might be a short delay in the awards page and the frames. I still don't have a frame background or an award. I mean a new award since this isn't called "Fetch's Unofficial Beanie Baby Doghouse" anymore. It's still unofficial but the name was just too long. Anyway, please be patient and it'll come soon. Oh, and on the front page the "Frames: On Off" buttons WILL WORK! And so do the links on that page! I'm getting excited!

(2/8/99)- May 21 will be here before you know it. The countdown to McDonald's 1999 Teenie Beanie Baby promotion is underway!

I posted this because I wasn't aware of this date: May 21 is JUDGEMENT DAY! I just wanted to say that.

I don't really have enough time to begin collecting Furbies and I wish to stay strictly on Ty Beanie Babies, so this should be my last entry on Furbies.

Did Somebody say McFurby?- Mary Beth's Beanie World Monthly reports on the "McFurby" Promotion at McDonalds.

What does this mean? Was this put in the wrong place? The Furby Winner storie is three articles below the Game of the Century.

2-9-99- MB's Beanie World features the new redesigns here! It appears that the new Batty is not there though. To see the new Batty click here!

Ty-died Batty: (Insert Taken From One Of My Older Articles) I have just bought the new "Ty"-died Batty today. There are a few pictures of him here at the Beaniemom website. The original Batty I will call "B1" and the new one will be called "B2."Here are a few of the differences between them:
B1: Fabric: A light brown.
B2: Fabric: Claude's ti-died color- actually:
The blue used on B2 is kind of lighter, and the brown is more of a burgundy.
B1: Nose: The nose is a baige of a pink.
B2: Nose: The nose is dark Burgundy.
B1: Felt: The felt on B1, the spikes on the wings, the legs and the ears, are a light brow.
B2: Felt: These are all the same color, really dark violet/purple/burgundy. It's almost black. Not the same burgundy that is used in the body/fur color.
B1: Stiches: If you look on Batty's neck, where the fabric joins together, you'll notice stitching sticking out. There are 4 strands under the neck and it seems that it was cut at the end. They are the same light brown color as the feet.
B2: Same as B1 but it is a really dark burgundy (like the feet and spikes).
B1: Velcro: The Velcro is the same color as the feet using a brown stitching.
B2: Velcro: The Velcro is the same color as the feet and uses a white stitching.
Other Comments: There is no changes on any of the tags. The wingspan and everything else checked out the same.

Smoochy:(Not on list) Instead of 1 (or 2) threads fo a mouth there is not red felt.

2-6-99- Rumors are expanding about the surprise buddy! There have been B/W scans of the picture as well as colored ones. Rumors about what it might be can be found all over the place such as Beanie 411 and Beanieholics. Since it's not been officially announced as a new TY Buddie I can't really tell you what it is. My bets are going towards the Princess Beanie Buddie.
